What we collect

This site does not require an account and does not ask you for personal information. We do not collect names, email addresses or payment details.

Analytics

We use aggregate analytics to understand which guides are read and where readers arrive from. This data is used in aggregate to decide what to write and what to re-verify.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which records page views, referrer and coarse device information. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your browser, and does not follow you across sites.

We also use Google Analytics 4 to understand which guides are read and how readers move through the site. Unlike the above, Google Analytics does set cookies (_ga and a property-specific _ga_*, which persist for up to two years) and processes your data on Google's infrastructure. We do not use it for advertising and do not link it to any ad product. You can opt out with any content blocker, with your browser's cookie controls, or with Google's official opt-out add-on .

You can block this script with any content blocker without affecting the site — nothing on these pages depends on analytics to render or function.

Advertising and cookies

This site currently carries no advertising and sets no advertising cookies. Analytics cookies are described in the section above. If that changes, this page will be updated before any ad network is enabled — not after.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data held about you, and to object to personalised advertising. Requests can be made through the contact route listed on the about page.
