Pre-launch notice
This document is a working draft. It must be reconciled against the ad network, analytics provider and consent tooling actually deployed before this site accepts traffic.
What we collect
This site does not require an account and does not ask you for personal information. We do not collect names, email addresses or payment details.
Analytics
We use aggregate analytics to understand which guides are read and where readers arrive from. This data is used in aggregate to decide what to write and what to re-verify.
Our current provider is 51.LA, which loads a script from
sdk.51.la and records page views, referrer, approximate location derived from
IP, and basic device and browser information. We do not use it to build advertising profiles
or to identify individual readers, and we do not combine it with any other data set.
You can block this script with any content blocker without affecting the site — nothing on these pages depends on analytics to render or function.
Advertising and cookies
This site is supported by third-party display advertising. Ad networks may set cookies or similar identifiers to measure ad performance and, depending on your consent and region, personalise the ads you see. You can control this through your browser settings and through the consent prompt shown on your first visit where required by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data held about you, and to object to personalised advertising. Requests can be made through the contact route listed on the about page.
