Best Koo Build in Beast of Reincarnation: Skills and Charms
Best Koo build: Strength/Vitality first, Florescence after. Attack, Skill, Critical charms. Use Higanbana Seeds, restraint arts; parry for FP.
Short answer
For Koo, put points into Strength and Vitality first, then Florescence. Equip Attack Charm, Skill Charm, and Critical Charm for pure damage. Higanbana Seeds builds early stagger; restraint Bloom Arts pin enemies. Parry attacks to generate Florescence Points and power Bloom Arts.
How should you allocate Koo’s attribute points?
| Priority | Attribute | Why |
|---|---|---|
| First | Strength and Vitality | Unlocks most of Koo’s core skills while raising his damage and survivability. |
| Second | Florescence | Raises Skill Power, which directly scales Bloom Art damage and effect strength. |
Which charms are best for Koo?
| Charm | Effect |
|---|---|
| Attack Charm | Raises damage |
| Skill Charm | Raises skill damage |
| Critical Charm | Raises critical rate |
All three are pure damage. Enemies scale fast through the story, so Koo’s damage has to keep pace or he degrades into a stagger-only tool. Swap to Experience or Lucky while grinding levels and Ambers.
What are Koo’s best Bloom Art skills?
Koo’s Bloom Art categories are fire damage, crowd control, aerial launch, poison, and multi-target.
| Bloom Art | Details |
|---|---|
| Higanbana Seeds | Available from the start; builds stagger efficiently and carries the early boss fights. |
| Higanbana Roots | Restraint Bloom Art that binds up to three enemies in group fights. |
Restraint Bloom Arts pin enemies in place, which is invaluable against fast Malefacts.
How do you generate Florescence Points for Koo’s Bloom Arts?
Successful parries are the main source of Koo’s Florescence Points (FP), which power his Bloom Arts. FP is earned mainly from Emma’s successful parries. Parry into FP into Bloom Art is the backbone of combat, not an optional extra system.
To parry, press Guard as the attack closes in. The window is longer than in comparable games, so it is more forgiving.
Unparryable attacks show a red glint during the wind-up animation. When you see the red flash, dodge instead of guarding. A perfect dodge against an unparryable attack opens a counter window.
Parrying works on every boss in the game.
