The first post-launch patch. After a mixed reception Game Freak publicly committed to a "series of continuous updates"; this one covers camera, text size, controls, difficulty, story pacing and display options. The boss balance and parry adjustments directly affect whether existing boss guides still hold.

Changes

  • Balance adjustments to bosses across all difficulty levels — every boss guide's numbers and move classification need re-checking
  • Balance adjustments to enemy encounters on Normal difficulty
  • Parry window adjusted while Emma is taking damage (direction not stated in the patch notes)
  • Various adjustments to the player camera, both in and out of combat
  • Text size is now adjustable throughout the game
  • Affinity conversations limited to once per day instead of repeating back to back, changing story pacing
  • Cutscene default switched from Cinematic to Performance, so they no longer play at 24fps by default
  • The interact button can now be remapped in settings
  • DLSS 4/4.5 and FSR 4 are listed by the developer as planned for a future patch, not included in 1.0.7
  • Fixed a bug where the interact button mapped to square/X blocked the Kagura conversation on the Walker
  • Fixed an issue where the 6th golem in Subcity 01 was difficult to find
  • Fixed an issue where Emma becomes unable to interact if a Bloom Art is cancelled
  • Fixed V-Sync changes incorrectly altering resolution settings
  • Fixed button icon type changes and upscaling settings not persisting across restarts
